A Week in Alsace - Track and Field

Fresh back from London and it was off to Strasbourg to spend just over a week enjoying a different, easterly aspect of France.

We headed to the Munster (famous for its eponymous and distinctive cheese), where we spent four days exploring the surrounding valley and countryside just a couple of hours away from Strasbourg.

Of course, the area is famous for its fruity white vins and pungent but delicious fromages - and though we weren’t officially on those well-trodden tourist routes - we couldn't help doing a fair amount of research along those lines in our few days there.
